Mr. William (Bill) Dewell, Director of Operations Hilton Dead Sea & Spa
Currently serving as Director of Operations for Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa, Bill Dewell is also responsible for Hilton’s development in Jordan ensuring the brand establishes a strong presence in the Kingdom. Having enjoyed a 20-year tenure to date in the Middle East and working in diverse climates such as Egypt, Lebanon, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and now Jordan, he is an Australian national and a Business major who started his career “accidentally” at the Hilton in Sydney but fell in love with the industry from the very first day working his way up to this role from being a cleaner. He is an advocate for lifelong learning, the development of young people (especially those entering the industry), a champion for technology and considers himself a maverick in opening doors for talented females who yearn the same opportunities as men.
