The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts is a member of the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) Network of Certified Schools, EHL founded in 1893 in Lausanne, Switzerland which is the first and oldest university specialized in Hotel Management in the world.
The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts is a non-profit private Jordanian institution that was founded in 2008 to fulfill the vision of his Majesty King Abdullah II of having a culinary school in Jordan operating at the highest international standards and to introduce the Swiss experience of merging practical and hands- on training with academic education.
The Royal Academy of Culinary Arts opened as a Campus of Les Roches Global Hospitality Education, as the first culinary school managed and operated by them in the world. Entering its second decade of being the leading culinary school in Jordan and the region, the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts (RACA) has entered into a partnership with Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, the world No. 1 University in Hospitality and Leisure management.
Being one of the development projects of King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), RACA supports youth employability, women empowerment, supporting the local tourism industry, and minimizing the need to import expertise in the hotel and restaurant fields which are in line with KAFD Key Performance Indicators.
RACA has diverse streamed programs for all students who completed high school. The curriculum is entirely taught in English language to students of any race, nationality, gender, color, religion, or creed.
